AXIS took birth in "Odyssey", a Mechanical Engineering event in the year 2001. Over the years, AXIS has evolved to become Central India's largest engineering and technology portrayal platform. Brand AXIS having established itself in the itinerary of Technical Festivals in the country, aims at bringing together a plethora of engineering talent from across the country to participate, learn and innovate as an engineer and more importantly, as a responsible youth who shall build the new face of and an emerging Nation; because the wheel of economy runs about the AXIS of technology.
AXIS 2011 promises to have a vibrant mix of technical, management and leisure events. They will enable students to pit their ideas against one another in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere. AXIS 2011 shall also have guest lectures and workshops for the visionaries among you with topics that shall spoil you for choice!
At VNIT we are 'engineers with a heart'. We care for our environment and mother nature has blessed our campus with greenery to envy for. So when better than to start our very own green revolution than at AXIS? The 2009 edition set the wheels in motion, and we further look to 'go green' thus showing our concern for the environment with innovative ideas towards progressive sustainable development. AXIS 2010 was a huge success and we shall endeavour to make this edition bigger.
